Fågelvik School is a secondary school for grades 7 - 9 with approximately 350 students. At Fågelvik School, we also collaborate with adapted primary school 7-9 and Individual Programs. We now need to strengthen our staff with a music teacher. Could it be you?

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to teach music together with a subject colleague. You also have creative ideas on how musical education can be spread in various ways within our organization, and there is an opportunity for collaboration with the cultural school as we share facilities. We are already collaborating on events such as graduations. Additionally, you are engaged in developing interdisciplinary projects where music can leave its mark. We offer a newly renovated music room and school environment, as well as access to Forum, a venue for various performances. You will also collaborate with a dedicated team of colleagues at Fågelvik, where we focus on how to best shape education for our students.

The job involves shaping music education for students in grades 7-9, as well as adapted primary school and students in Individual Programs, together with a subject colleague. We start from the premise that the student is not, but becomes in a context.

You have a collaborative approach and enjoy working with other colleagues in the work and subject team. Together, we drive school development forward, learn from each other, and collaborate to ensure that all students achieve the best possible academic results!

We are looking for a qualified/certified teacher.

• You have a pedagogical drive and a desire to further develop the organization together with others, viewing development and new ideas as positive challenges.
• You contribute to our students' development through interaction and dialogue with others.
• You are engaged, straightforward, and open, with clear leadership.
• You are well acquainted with our governing documents.
• You have a good ability to include students in need of support and are challenged by finding the extra adjustments that individuals may need to achieve the subject's knowledge goals.
• You have a good ability to create strong relationships with students and guardians.
