In the kitchen team at Bollebygdskolan and Bollegården, there is a mix of chefs and meal assistants who together offer good food and service to our customers. We are now looking for a chef for Bollebygdskolan for a permanent position and a chef for Bollegården for a 6-month temporary position starting February 1 or by agreement.

The meal service in Bollebygd municipality is part of the technical and service administration, and the unit's employees are located in the municipality's schools, preschools, and nursing homes. The operation consists of seven production kitchens where we daily prepare 2000 lunch portions for schools, preschools, and elderly care. Within our preschool facilities, there are also three reception kitchens.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a chef with us, you will cook with fine ingredients. With good knowledge of food and cooking, you will prepare good food together with other employees in the kitchen. Together we offer high service and quality to our customers, which includes nutritious, tasty, and safe food as well as a good attitude.

The working hours are scheduled during the day from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. The position at Bollegården includes working every third weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• Degree from the Restaurant and Food Program or equivalent education as assessed by the employer
• Experience in planning and preparing special diets
• Good computer skills

Desirable:

• Good knowledge of food hygiene, nutrition, and special diets

To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible, curious, and solution-oriented. You should be confident and calm in yourself and enjoy rapid changes. You need to thrive working for and with people. We always focus on the customer, and based on that, you work with a high level of service and have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have the ability to organize, prioritize, and remain calm even when a lot is happening around you.
