The welfare sector consists of four areas: disability services, home care and home healthcare, individual and family care, and care homes.

Home care and home healthcare are responsible for services according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. We operate throughout the municipality and are responsible for regulatory activities, home healthcare, home care, and short-term services. Our mission is to provide support and assistance to those who have difficulty managing daily life and to provide good and quality-assured home healthcare.

Home healthcare in Ulricehamn Municipality has developed significantly in recent years and now offers both planned and acute health and medical services in the patient's home. We provide advanced care to patients of all ages with varying diagnoses and needs, from rehabilitation services to end-of-life care.

As a nurse, you work closely with patients and have a central role in creating safety, quality, and continuity for our residents - even during the quietest hours of the day. We warmly welcome your application!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role includes, among other things:

• Performing medical assessments and interventions in the home.
• Working with both acute and planned care measures.
• Being responsible for end-of-life care and providing support for relatives.
• Supervising and training nursing staff in daily work.
• Being a team leader during on-call hours.
• Collaborating in interdisciplinary teams and participating in care planning when needed.
• Documenting and following up on care interventions to ensure patient safety and good quality.

Working hours are scheduled for evenings/nights, which means independent and responsible work where you become a key person in the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse.
• Has a strong commitment to good care and patient safety.
• Is confident and stable, with the ability to make independent decisions.
• Has a flexible approach and can easily adapt to changing situations.
• Is structured and can plan and organize your work effectively.
• Values teamwork and sees collaboration as a prerequisite for good care.
• Has a B driver's license, as a car is used in the job.
