Your Upcoming Tasks
Your upcoming tasks will be varied and include administrative tasks such as writing medical records, scheduling appointments, and handling phone calls (tele Q), as well as possibly managing mail. Reception work may also be required as needed.
About You
You are a trained medical secretary, doctor’s secretary, or healthcare administrator. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and IT skills, preferably with experience in Cosmic and disease classification.
You have a positive attitude, personal maturity, and a willingness to collaborate to achieve the best results for the patient. You are service-oriented and self-driven, taking responsibility and structuring your tasks. Great emphasis is placed on flexibility, the ability to switch between independent work and teamwork, as well as engagement in continuous improvements of the operations.

Your Future Workplace
The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic consists of the Ear, Nose, and Throat Outpatient Clinic, Hearing Care, Educational Hearing Care, and the Speech Therapy Clinic. We are about 60 employees who collaborate with the patient at the center; audiologists, ear, nose, and throat doctors, audiologists, hearing pedagogues, special educators, sign language teachers, hearing care technicians, speech therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. The specialty treats congenital and acquired diseases and injuries and includes both acute and non-acute conditions in patient groups of all ages. Our primary catchment area covers about 140,000 inhabitants in the southern part of Kalmar County. We have outpatient operations in modern and well-equipped facilities, our own inpatient care places in a shared care unit, and surgical resources in the central operating room.
The Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialized care, maternity care, and postpartum care. More than 2,300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our employees' continuous development efforts lead to good results in several national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
