We are now looking for an engaged and responsible nurse/district nurse

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible nurse/district nurse for day shifts in our team within home care and special housing in Funäsdalen. With us, we work to create good health and medical care for our users and citizens, as well as a safe and pleasant workplace for our employees.

Working as a nurse in Härjedalen Municipality means a high degree of independence and includes close collaboration with other professional categories within the municipality and the region. You will play a central role in ensuring good care and support and be an important part of the work to enhance the quality of life for our citizens. We staff around the clock with on-call duty at night.

In this recruitment, we are looking for a nurse for day shifts. You will work based on a rolling basic schedule with duty every fourth weekend. The position may involve work both within special housing and home care, but you will be assigned a main placement where you have care responsibility.

The position is a nine-month temporary position, starting as soon as possible or by agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

Previous experience will be taken into account.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform medical assessments and care measures in the home or in special housing.
  • Coordinate and plan care efforts together with other care staff and partners.
  • Provide support and information to patients and relatives.
  • Document and follow up on care plans.
  • Work closely with doctors, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and case managers.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed nurse with experience in home care or elderly care.
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Very good Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious:

  • Good knowledge and experience regarding the care of the elderly, dementia care, palliative care, and/or specialized home care.
  • District nurse education and/or further education in elderly care, LSS, dementia, and palliative care.
  • Good computer skills in the Office suite and preferably experience with the operational systems Viva Cambio, Cosmic, and Link.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
