We are looking for a Project Manager BEST for Trafikverket. 

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Uppsala.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As a Project Manager BEST in the Four Tracks Uppsala project, you will be part of the project management team and responsible for driving the project towards set goals. The role involves taking on the client role towards consultants, authorities, and stakeholders, ensuring design and preparation of documents for procurement and production, as well as contributing to knowledge transfer to Trafikverket's employees. You will also participate in matters concerning Construction, FU, procurement, and contracts, and collaborate with Uppsala Municipality and Region Uppsala to ensure the project's success. Travel to Stockholm occurs, primarily to the project office in Solna about two days per month.

Responsibilities

Take on the client role regarding design issues towards consultants, authorities, and other stakeholders. Direct and share design conditions and work and decision routines with consulting designers. Collaborate to achieve optimal solutions for the construction and maintenance phases. Ensure consultants' documents for use in procurements and production. Participate in the preparation of tender documents for contracts. Ensure that changes during the bidding period are incorporated into the contract documents. Maintain a business-like approach in relation to suppliers. Collaborate and consult with relevant suppliers to ensure goal fulfillment and good economy. Prepare materials for follow-up and forecasts, monitor risks and risk management. Contribute to good relationships with residents and businesses in the vicinity. Ensure that documentation for the maintenance phase is delivered.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Technical university education of 180 credits (120 points) in the field or equivalent competence acquired through experience or education deemed equivalent. At least 8 years of work experience in projects within the state railway in the BEST area as a design manager, construction manager, or project manager. At least 2 years of experience and at least 70% workload of having worked in the client organization in the construction document phase of a railway project involving new construction of state railway with a total project cost of at least 500 million SEK. At least 2 years of experience and at least 70% workload of having worked in the client organization in the production phase of a railway project involving new construction of state railway with a total project cost of at least 500 million SEK. Knowledge of AB04, ABT06, and ABK09. Knowledge of AMA, RA, and MER Construction and Electrical. Good knowledge of Trafikverket's regulations for railways (TDOK, TRVINFRA). Very good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. B driver's license.

Desirable

You have worked as responsible for coordinating the preparation of at least one tender document for execution contracts, the task must have been performed for at least 2 years, at least 50%, in the last 8 years. You have been responsible for financial and production follow-up for an execution contract BEST works (Track, electrical, signal, and telecommunication) in state railway construction for at least 2 years, at least 50%, in the last 8 years. You have worked in the client organization (Trafikverket or similar) in a construction project with co-financing from external parties such as municipalities and regions, the task must have been performed for at least 2 years, at least 50%, in the last 8 years. You have worked in a project with a railway station for passenger exchange in the construction document preparation and/or production phase, the task must have been performed for at least 2 years, at least 50%, in the last 8 years.
