Temporary Position as Speech Therapist

Åland's Health and Medical Care (ÅHS) is announcing a temporary position for a speech therapist at the medical clinic, paramedical reception.

As one of five (5) speech therapists, you will primarily work in primary care with children and adolescents, but adults may also be relevant. The work includes assessments, investigations, and treatments related to speech, language, communication, and reading and writing difficulties.

You will also need to have a driver's license.

The working language is Swedish.

Eligibility requirements include being a licensed speech therapist (FFS 559/94). The license must be registered with the Finnish Authority for Health and Welfare, Valvira.

The position requires vaccination protection in accordance with section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (FFS 1227/2016).

The temporary position extends until June 30, 2026, with a start date to be agreed upon.
