Do you want to be part of my resource team in a special needs high school and/or at home?

I am currently looking for a personal assistant who can work part-time three school days a week, preferably five days a week during the introduction. There is also the opportunity to work at my home in the evenings, weekends, and during school breaks. I am in my first year of a special needs high school and require assistance around the clock due to a neurological condition that includes epilepsy with severe seizures during sleep at night (very rarely during the day). I enjoy music, dancing, clothes, hats, and caps, and have special interests such as vacuum cleaners and guitars. I am looking for someone who is positive, secure, and solution-oriented, and who finds it exciting to work with people who think differently. It is important that you are attentive to when I experience stress, as stress increases the risk of seizures. During the introduction, there will be a strong focus on communication and information about epilepsy.

To minimize the risk of misunderstandings, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish.

Your Responsibilities:

• Be my support and security that enables school, outings, and camps, etc.
• To understand and support me in communication with others.
• To come up with activities that we find fun to do together.

Desirable Experiences:

• Special education
• Relationships with people with different cognition
• Alternative communication such as TAKK and Widget Go
• Music in all forms
• Epilepsy

Working Hours:

There is an opportunity to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
