We are now welcoming a medical secretary with managerial support responsibilities to the vascular unit (VE) in Malmö. The vascular unit is part of the thoracic and vascular area (VO) at Skåne University Hospital (Sus), where we provide highly specialized care for patients with vascular diseases. The vascular area is a part of VE vascular, which consists of an inpatient department, outpatient clinic, and operating room.

Our employees work both broadly and variably as we investigate and treat patients with various types of diseases in blood vessels of both medical and surgical nature. We are one of Skåne University Hospital's profile areas. What we are responsible for is vascular care in the southwestern and central healthcare districts in Skåne, as well as the highly specialized treatment of vascular diseases throughout the southern healthcare region. Even though we are specialized and at the forefront, we are a smaller area, which creates a more personal atmosphere in the workplace.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with managerial support responsibilities, you will work closely with the unit manager on personnel administrative tasks. You will primarily work with schedule management in Multiaccess, staffing issues, invoice management, and other administrative tasks. Your role also includes working in the personnel system HR-window with reporting and some follow-up. It will also involve handling new hires and scheduling in HR-window. The position includes other administrative tasks such as purchasing, assisting in the financial system Raindance and Marketplace. You will be in close collaboration with other managerial support in the area.

Together with the unit manager, you will have the opportunity to develop the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has an approved education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80p KY or 400p YH or equivalent medical secretary education. Good language skills in Swedish are a requirement. Work experience as a medical secretary and in personnel administrative work such as scheduling and staffing is considered an advantage.
