Onsite Technician for a Client in the Media Industry

We are looking for an onsite technician for our client in the media industry. Here you will have a varied role where you both support users and work practically with the local IT environment at several offices in the region.

About the Role

As an onsite technician, you will be responsible for managing and resolving incoming IT issues both on-site and via phone. You will have daily contact with employees and be part of scheduled phone support shifts on certain days. The role also includes deliveries, participation in projects, and handling local IT issues for approximately 17 offices in the region.

The position is based in Örebro, and travel to other locations in the region is required. In the long term, shift work and on-call duties may occur, so we hope you are open to that.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve incoming IT issues on-site and via phone
  • Work in a ticketing system and document actions taken
  • Scheduled phone support according to a timetable
  • Support users in Windows, MacOS, and Chromebook environments
  • Installation, configuration, and replacement of computers and other equipment
  • Set up workstations, monitors, and basic cabling
  • Handle deliveries and local IT issues at several offices in the region
  • Participate in projects, such as rollouts, workplace relocations, and local IT changes
  • Collaborate with technicians and contribute to a stable and service-oriented teamwork

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • Used to working independently
  • Experience in IT support
  • Experience with Windows 11, MacOS, and Chromebook
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • AD administration
  • Ability to document issues and follow processes
  • Driver's license (B)

Meritorious:

  • Experience with onsite work
