About the role
As the HR and payroll manager at Kålltorps Bygg AB, you will have a broad and independent responsibility to ensure that both HR and payroll issues are handled professionally and in accordance with laws and agreements. The role is a combination of qualified payroll administration, HR processes, support for managers and employees, workplace environment work, as well as some administration and coordination. You will be part of the management team and work closely with project managers and other support functions, together being an important part of the company's continued development. The position is located at the office in Gothenburg.
Examples of tasks:
Payroll
- Prepare and administer payroll every month
- Report taxes and employer contributions
- Generate statistics and key figures
- Reporting to e.g. Byggnads, pension and insurance agencies
- Check registered projects in the payroll system
- Contribute support during monthly and annual financial closing
HR
- Preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding of employees
- Coordinate the work with apprentices and interns
- Provide qualified and consultative support to managers in personnel issues
- Be responsible for the annual salary review
- Drive and participate in union collaboration and negotiations
- Together with the KMA responsible, drive systematic work environment efforts and OSA processes
- Continuous follow-up of laws and regulations in the HR field
- Be responsible for the employee handbook on the intranet
About you
To thrive and succeed in the role of HR and payroll manager at Kålltorps Bygg, you need to be independent and proactive, as you have a broad responsibility and often drive processes on your own. Since the role involves close collaboration with both management, project managers, and employees, it is important that you are attentive and unpretentious.
Structure and order are crucial, as you handle both payroll administration and HR processes that require accuracy and systematics. At the same time, you need to be service-oriented and flexible, as you support managers and employees in various issues and may need to quickly switch between tasks.

Your Background
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in qualified work with payroll and HR, preferably in a similar operational and combined role. You have experience working with both skilled workers and office staff, and are used to driving and developing HR processes. You have good knowledge of labor law, collective agreements, taxes, pensions, and insurances, as well as experience in union collaboration and negotiations. You are confident in providing consultative support to managers and employees.
You have post-secondary education in HR, payroll, personnel administration, or equivalent and good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Experience from the construction industry and collective agreements with Byggnads is highly meritorious.
