The Assistance Unit in Årjäng consists of 2.5 caseworkers who investigate according to the Social Services Act (SoL). The Assistance Unit is part of the Individual and Family Care.

The staff have high competence, broad experience, and a strong focus on placing the individual's needs at the center. We offer a flexible working method, some opportunity to work from home, accessible leadership, and wonderful colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the social welfare assessor involves conducting qualified investigations, making and following up on decisions according to the Social Services Act. The work includes implementing coordinated individual plans to provide comprehensive care with the user at the center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a social worker, holds a degree in social care, or another equivalent higher education relevant to the field. The job requires familiarity with the Administrative Procedure Act and the Social Services Act. Experience in investigative work is an advantage, as well as knowledge of the elderly target group.

As a person, you have a high level of personal maturity, are secure, stable, and thrive in a self-directed role where you can easily take your own initiatives. You are structured with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work effectively.

You should have good collaboration skills and a professional attitude, as the social welfare assessor constantly interacts with many different partners.

You also have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Experience with the Lifecare operational system is an advantage. A valid driver's license (B) is required. Personal suitability will be highly valued.

To perform certain tasks involving sensitive information, employees may need to log in with their personal e-identification. E-identification is an electronic identity document that can be compared to other forms of identification, such as a passport.
