Your responsibilities

You will teach Science and Mathematics in grades 7-9. The full-time position also includes being a mentor for a 7th-grade class and guiding individual students. As a mentor, you should be able to spark curiosity in students and encourage them to seek knowledge independently. In collaboration with teams and colleagues, you will be responsible for driving and developing the pedagogical work with the curriculum and municipal goals as guidelines. Contact and collaboration with parents are an important part of the work.

About you

We are looking for someone who is qualified to teach Science and Mathematics in grades 7-9. You have a teaching license or have applied for one. You have experience working in middle school, and we prefer that you have experience teaching as a primary school teacher.

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have the ability to individualize and vary teaching based on students' needs. You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure, context, and good relationships.

You have knowledge of assessment and grading. We also believe that you have experience teaching students with special needs.

To develop students' language skills and communicate with students, guardians, and colleagues, document, and engage with the school's governing documents, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

If you have a teaching license, please attach it.

Due to the law on suitability checks, a police record extract must be presented upon employment.

The position is a temporary part-time position (50-75%) starting as soon as possible, by agreement until 2026-06-07.
