SPIRAC AB develops and markets equipment for handling sludge, screenings, and solid materials primarily for wastewater treatment plants, but also for waste facilities, paper mills, and other industries. Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

As a Technical Salesperson at SPIRAC AB, you will drive project sales from the first customer contact to the completed business. You will engage in technical dialogues, prepare quotes, ensure requirements are met, and build long-term relationships. The work is characterized by technology, business acumen, and a consultative approach to meeting customer needs.

The tasks are varied but include, among other things:

  • Drive the entire sales process: needs analysis, technical dialogue, quote, calculation, negotiation, and closure.
  • Develop and cultivate customers within wastewater treatment, industry, and related sectors.
  • Conduct technical reviews and ensure correct requirements and drawing documentation.
  • Prepare and customize quotes together with the design and project organization.
  • Ensure smooth handover to projects, as well as follow up on deliveries and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent SPIRAC at customer meetings, site visits, and industry fairs.

Your Profile

You are a technically interested and business-oriented salesperson who thrives in a role where you can combine customer contact, technical dialogue, and project sales. You are used to working independently, structured, and proactively, and you build trust through an unpretentious and professional approach. You use your technical understanding to quickly grasp customer needs and find it easy to engage in qualified dialogues with both technicians and decision-makers.

For the role, you require:

  • Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial production, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical B2B sales.
  • Experience in project sales, system solutions, or customized technical products.
  • Familiarity with quote preparation, calculations, technical requirements, and negotiations.
  • Experience from wastewater treatment plants, pump technology, process industry, waste, or related fields.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
