As a Document Control Lead, you will lead the documentation work for the entire BECCS project. You are responsible for developing, structuring, and ensuring the quality of documentation processes, as well as ensuring that all technical documents are correct, complete, and updated according to project standards and Final Handover requirements.

The role reports to the Digitalization Manager and involves close collaboration with Information Coordination, Engineering, suppliers, and other project functions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure the quality of the preparation, review, and approval of technical documentation.

  • Ensure that all documents comply with BECCS project standards, regulations, and requirements.

  • Coordinate and follow up on documentation deliveries from both suppliers and internal teams.

  • Develop and manage processes and routines for document management, including versioning, structuring, and archiving.

  • Review technical documents for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure proper archiving and version control for current and future needs.

  • Support project teams in best practices for documentation and contribute to effective cross-functional collaboration.

  • Manage and maintain databases and logs in EDMS/CDE systems.

  • Be the main contact for documentation-related inquiries and drive improvements in document management.

  • Actively participate in project meetings, including:
  • Digitalization Meeting (every two weeks)

  • Town Hall (monthly)

Requirements Profile

Experience

  • At least 7 years of experience in technical document management in large engineering or industrial projects.

  • Documented experience with Final Handover processes in complex, large-scale projects.

  • Preferred: Experience with digital handovers based on Digital Twin.

Skills & Competencies

  • Very good knowledge of document management processes, versioning, and EDMS/CDE systems (e.g., Aconex or similar).

  • Ability to handle large volumes of documents with high accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as good communication abilities.

  • Experience with smart digital archiving as an alternative to traditional archives.

Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of engineering documentation, technical standards, and compliance.

  • Good insight into documentation life cycles, classification, and structural requirements.

Personal Attributes

  • Solution-oriented, proactive, and driven in improvement work.

  • Thrives in a dynamic project landscape and can deliver under pressure.

Education

  • Relevant post-secondary education, YH degree, or bachelor's degree in document management, industrial engineering, construction, or a similar field.

Languages

  • Very good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of Italian, French, or other languages.
