Ragn-Sells is now looking for a Process Technician (Environmental Worker) for water management at our waste facility Heljestorp in Vänersborg.

Job Responsibilities

As a Process Technician, you will drive, manage, and develop the existing facility related to water management at Heljestorp. You will be part of a team of three responsible for the practical management of irrigation facilities, leachate treatment plants, and water pumps. The job includes planning maintenance and repairs on facilities with associated equipment, as well as performing minor repairs and ongoing maintenance.

Your Profile

In this position, we see that you have an interest in technology. You have completed high school education or have equivalent experience. It is an advantage if you have experience working at water treatment plants or similar processes. Knowledge of mechanics is also beneficial, as well as experience in sampling and analysis. Both practical and theoretical knowledge in water treatment and water chemistry is highly valued. You are accustomed to using a computer as a work tool and feel comfortable in simpler digital environments. Of course, you have an interest in the environment.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, ready to take initiative and responsibility, and can remain calm when the pace picks up. You enjoy solving problems and working independently as well as in a team. You like working outdoors and are not afraid to get your hands dirty. Furthermore, you have good social skills and a strong sense of order. It is important that you have the interest and ability to contribute to maintaining and developing the operations.

Other

The position requires a B driver's license. The location at Heljestorp means that access to a car is recommended to commute to and from work, as public transport to the facility is limited. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
