Malå Health Center forms a base unit together with Stenberg Health Center. Malå Health Center functions as a small mini-hospital with emergency reception, medical consultations, lab, maternal care, and child health care. We provide our population with access to healthcare from 08:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 17:00 on weekends and public holidays. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.

You will work with planned and emergency reception. The work is varied with assessments, treatments, telephone advice, follow-ups, conversations, and support in care work. You will work together with colleagues to develop work methods that promote patient safety, accessibility, and a good working environment in teams with other professionals. You work in a professional manner where you constantly keep the patient in focus. The role of the nurse also requires your ability to lead and motivate other care staff to create a good working environment and provide quality care together. In the evenings and weekends, you work independently in close collaboration with a nursing assistant/nurse. Doctors are available remotely outside the health center's opening hours. The work requires independence and the ability to solve problems and make ongoing decisions in the correct order. The work is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in primary care and further education in emergency care is an advantage but not a requirement.

You who apply preferably have experience in the profession and a genuine interest in working with health and medical care in rural areas. You are a confident and loyal person who is not afraid of challenges. Your work is characterized by flexibility and commitment, and you see teamwork as a given. We work from a person-centered approach where the goal is to strengthen and utilize the patient's own abilities and resources. In an active and engaged manner, based on your professional role, you are expected to participate in the overall care and support of the patient with the aim of ensuring and promoting good and safe care.
