Administrator in Security Protection

The Total Defence Research Institute (FOI) is a government agency conducting world-leading research in defense and security to support Sweden's military and civil defense. The research spans several areas, including underwater, cyber defense, space, electronic warfare, sensor systems, civil defense, CBRNe (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive substances), military platforms including weapons and protection, as well as security policy analysis. FOI's research plays a key role in building Sweden's defense capability.

About the Position

As an administrator in the security protection unit, you will support managers and employees with planning, follow-up, and coordination. You will handle daily office services, assist with orders, system maintenance, meeting bookings, and meeting arrangements. You are also expected to contribute to the work of improving routines and processes and be able to take responsibility for handling tasks within the security protection area.

Requirements

• We are looking for someone who has:
• High school education and enjoys an administratively supportive role
• Very good experience working with the MS Office suite and computerized support systems
• Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Experience in handling confidentiality
• Driver's license (B)

Meritorious

• Previous experience working administratively in the public sector
• Experience providing administrative support to managers at various levels
• Experience working in the field of security protection

The position is a permanent employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period.
