Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed upper secondary school teacher qualified to teach mathematics.

Experience in adult education is an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, you are creative, innovative, well-structured, and have the ability to inspire others. You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and can easily adapt to different target groups and cultures. You have good computer skills and use digital tools in your teaching. You are proactive and positive about developing our operations in close collaboration with your colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We would like you to have experience with other cultures and knowledge of several languages besides Swedish.

It is advantageous if you have experience teaching students with special needs.

Employment

Permanent employment, we apply a 6-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement. We will have ongoing recruitment, which may mean that the position is filled before the application deadline. During the recruitment process, we may request an extract from the criminal record register. We apply the collective agreement between Almega and the trade unions Sveriges Lärare and Vision.

ABF Vux develops adults' skills and builds bridges into the labor market. The goal is for our operations to lead to jobs or further studies for our participants. We conduct educational activities on behalf of municipalities and authorities within SFI, basic and upper secondary adult education, as well as higher vocational education.

Our main operations are conducted in Gothenburg, but we are also present in Borås, Gotland, Värmland, Skåne, and Fyrbodal. We also conduct distance education in many places across the country.
