Job Description

Those of us working at the Assistive Technology Center contribute daily to providing opportunities for vulnerable people to participate in society. In our customer service team, nine people work in a smaller office landscape. We provide service to our customers throughout the Västra Götaland region, and also internally to our four assistive technology centers. You will be the voice of the Assistive Technology Center and will primarily work with the phone as your main tool and also handle administrative matters in our business system. Examples of tasks that occur in the position include:

• Phone service to individuals and assistive technology orderers
• Answering questions by phone regarding stock, delivery, fault reports, and customer orders
• Administrative tasks within the organization
• Staffing the reception as needed
• Internal service to our four assistive technology centers

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, and the customer service phone is open between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM on weekdays without holidays.

Requirements for the position

• Completed high school education
• A couple of years of experience working with service and customer contacts via phone
• Documented experience working with phone support
• Documented experience in administrative work

Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of Office programs and experience working in various digital systems. You communicate fluently in Swedish and are skilled at expressing yourself in both speech and writing.

To provide good service in the role of assistant in customer service, you need to:

• Have a good sense of service and a positive customer approach
• Be patient and attentive with an understanding of the patient perspective
• Enjoy phone contact and be able to communicate clearly and concisely
• Be meticulous and have a structured working method
• Be able to take significant responsibility in independent work and also be a good team player
• Be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and systems simultaneously
• Have the ability to manage intensive work periods and recurring matters

It is important that you see opportunities, can take your own initiatives, and organize your work independently but also have the ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive work environment. If you have experience with the business system Sesam2, SOFIA, Jabber, and CC-bridge, we consider it an advantage.

About us

The Assistive Technology Center is part of the Welfare Administration within the Västra Götaland region and is a competence and logistics center for the 49 municipalities, as well as Västra Götaland region's own operations. We are located in Borås, Mölndal, Skövde, and Uddevalla.

Our service offerings are based on the needs of healthcare providers for both in-depth knowledge in the area of assistive technology and various service offerings to support the care chain. We handle purchasing, warehousing, distribution, as well as service and maintenance of assistive technology items. We also assist prescribers with, among other things, assistive technology advice, individual testing, adaptations/special adaptations, as well as study visits and training.
