Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in grade 1, you will be part of a team with teachers, leisure home teachers, and leisure leaders who collectively are responsible for the student's entire school day. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching at both group and individual levels. As a staff member, you will also have the opportunity to help build, influence, and shape a completely new operation. About the School

Lilla Gårdstensskolan moved into newly renovated premises in the heart of Gårdsten in the autumn of 2022 and is gradually welcoming more students. The school is located on Saffransgatan, close to the natural areas of Vättlefjäll and Lärjeån, as well as Angered Centrum. It is easy to reach here by bus and tram. Lilla Gårdstensskolan also has an adapted primary school, which means we work from an inclusive perspective where all students have the opportunity to develop according to their individual needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified and licensed teacher for grades 1-3 with broad qualifications. Experience in the teaching profession is required for this position. It is an advantage if you are qualified in SVA and have experience in pedagogical work in socio-economically disadvantaged areas.

We seek someone with high expectations and a belief that all students can succeed based on their circumstances. You create good relationships with both students and guardians, built on trust and respect. Based on students' results, research, and proven experience, you follow up and evaluate. You reflect and evaluate for development purposes and support students based on their needs. We work with collegial learning, which requires you to collaborate with your colleagues, share your experiences and knowledge to develop yourself, your role, and the school's pedagogical work.

To ensure that you, as a new graduate, have the best possible start in your career, you will be part of the School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction for newly graduated teachers. The introduction provides you with a network of other new graduates and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
