YOUR ASSIGNMENT

We are looking for an engaged case officer who wants to take on an important combined role. Your main tasks will involve exercising authority in two different areas:

• Handling of financial assistance: Investigate, assess, and decide on the right to financial assistance according to the Social Services Act (SoL). The work includes, among other things, conversations with applicants, establishing action plans, collaborating with internal and external actors, and careful documentation.
• Handling of transport services: Investigate and decide on the right to transport service permits and national transport services according to the Transport Services Act (1997:736). This includes assessments of medical documentation and the individual needs of the applicant.

The role includes ensuring legal certainty in the processing, providing clear information and service to citizens, and working in accordance with applicable legislation and local guidelines.

YOUR COMPETENCE

Education: Preferably relevant academic education or other training that the employer considers equivalent.

Experience: Experience working in government and with people.

Abilities: You have good social skills, are attentive, and can create trusting relationships. The work requires precision, analytical ability, and the ability to work independently under your own responsibility.

Language and IT: Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, as well as good computer skills.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in handling financial assistance and transport services.
