We belong to the technical administration, which is one of our six administrations in Lidingö municipality. About 40 people work with us, managing and developing municipal roads, parks, natural areas, waste, traffic, as well as water and sewage. We are also responsible for developing traffic and urban environments to create a safe, healthy, and attractive public environment in our beautiful archipelago municipality. In addition, we ensure that essential community functions operate, such as waste management and the operation of water and sewage systems. The administration also includes a project unit whose task is to conduct all feasibility studies and implementation projects within the city.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As the operational manager for water and sewage, you will be responsible for the technical administration's water and sewage operations, which include operational planning and follow-up, management of the operations, budget work, process ownership, tariffs, and water balance.

You have overall strategic responsibility for the water and sewage operations, including strategies and governance principles, information and communication, collaboration water and sewage strategy, and overall development. The role does not include personnel responsibility, which lies with the unit manager for water and waste.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an engineer in environmental and water technology or has equivalent competence deemed comparable by the employer. You have worked as a manager or leader for similar assignments for at least 5 years, focusing on quality and efficiency. You have the ability to coach employees in technical and essential community areas and are professional and confident in your role. Furthermore, you have:

• knowledge of water and sewage law and water and sewage economics.
• Knowledge of the management of water and sewage facilities according to ISO 55000.
• Management/leadership training.
• Knowledge of safety and information security, including NIS.
• Experience working in a politically governed organization.

As a person, you are solution-oriented and structured. You are engaged in your work and enjoy collaborating.
