The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, pedagogical care, after-school programs, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, adapted secondary school, municipal adult education, special adult education, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth centers, and cultural schools.

Preschool and after-school activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, with geographical distribution throughout the municipality.

Altorpskolan, which is the municipality's only 7-9 school, receives students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Altorpskolan has over 300 students, and about 40 staff members work around the students. The school has thirteen classes and is led by two principals. We are in the midst of a phased renovation that is expected to be fully completed by the spring term of 2026.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a qualified Music teacher.

You will:

• teach Music in grades 7-9.
• be a mentor for a class (together with a mentor colleague).
• plan, implement, and document your teaching based on governing documents, both individually and together with colleagues in subject and work teams.
• have the opportunity to build up the music education in newly renovated facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for teachers with teaching certification and solid subject knowledge. You are an engaged teacher who can set boundaries and create a safe classroom climate. As a mentor, we see you as a key person in your mentees' school journey. You take responsibility for the entire school's development and want to help drive it into the future together with us.
