Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are centered around the individual to meet their needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

The home healthcare in Motala municipality consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants. We work in teams together with elderly care, LSS operations, and daily activities for the benefit of our citizens.

Our night nurses are an experienced and qualified group responsible for care and medical interventions at night throughout the municipality. During each shift, two to three nurses collaborate and support each other.

Do you want to work independently but still be part of a safe and competent team? As a night nurse with us, you will have a varied and meaningful position where you make a difference for the entire municipality – every night.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your work consists of both planned and urgent interventions. You make medical assessments, perform treatments, and are responsible for nursing measures. An important part of the role is also to support the nursing staff in the operations you supervise, guide, and delegate as needed to ensure safe and secure care. Document according to applicable guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse
• has experience working in municipal health and medical care or night work is an advantage but not a requirement.

• confident in your professional role and enjoy independent work
• able to make medical assessments
• calm and professional in your approach
• enjoy teamwork and supporting other professional roles
