Bjurslättskolan is located in Kvillebäcken, near Wieselgrensplatsen in central Hisingen, in an expanding area where old meets new in a mixed socioeconomic neighborhood around the school.

The school offers preschool class, grades 1-6, adapted primary school, and after-school care. Approximately 630 students attend the school, and about 100 staff members work here. The school has one principal and three assistant principals responsible for different parts of the school: F-2, 3-6, and adapted primary school.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a craft teacher with us and who wants to help develop the operations together with other staff members. You may be qualified to teach woodworking and/or textile crafts, preferably both.

With us, you will have a varied job where you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. Together with your colleagues, you will design a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. The work involves collaboration with other teachers, student health services, school management, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 3-6 with subject qualifications in woodworking and metal crafts or textile crafts. It is advantageous if you have previous experience teaching both woodworking and metal crafts and textile crafts.
