The area of operation (VO) imaging and function at Skåne University Hospital (sus) includes six units: emergency radiology, pediatric and skeletal radiology, gastrointestinal, urological and thoracic radiology, neuroradiology including dental radiology, clinical physiology and nuclear medicine, and clinical neurophysiology. We are located in Lund, Malmö, Eslöv, and Trelleborg. We are approximately 750 employees striving to provide first-class diagnostics/treatment and to offer our patients and referrers a high level of service.

The area of operation (VO) imaging and function constitutes a complete operation in the field, with most possible modalities represented such as computed tomography, MRI, intervention, ultrasound, conventional equipment, and isotope operations. Here, high-class and multifaceted research and development are conducted in collaboration with various actors. Our operations consist of both acute and elective examinations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are starting up an angiography service and need to strengthen our team with a new colleague who wants to work with interventions in gastro at the gastrointestinal and urology unit in Malmö.

In Gastrointestinal and Urology, we examine the organs of the abdomen. We use various X-ray techniques such as computed tomography (CT), fluoroscopy, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The position includes evening and weekend shifts in Emergency Radiology. The position focuses on Gastrointerventions, which means you will primarily work in our angiolab. The unit also includes CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy. When you are not placed in the angiolab, you will primarily be placed in CT, but MRI and fluoroscopy may also become relevant.

We work in teams with doctors, nursing assistants, administrative staff, and anesthesiologists. Since quality and development are important parts of our work, we invest a lot in internal training and other education within our specialty. We have a strong patient focus and support each other in succeeding in the role of radiology nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed radiology nurse with the authority to work in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are required. Previous experience in angiography and/or CT is an advantage.
