Data Architecture Lead
We are looking for a driven Data Architecture Lead to define and drive the technical and organizational plan for Visma Software Nordic's unified data platform and governance model.
You will be part of our Customer Experience department, responsible for ensuring our data architecture is scalable, secure, and future-proof. This enables data democratization, predictive analytics, and AI capabilities within CX, Commercial, Product, and Finance. In addition to platform design, you will establish a Data Council and lead data knowledge programs to make data excellence sustainable across the organization.
You are the link between strategy and execution – you build the frameworks, culture, and technology that make data a real competitive advantage for Visma Software Nordic.
Your main responsibilities
Architectural ownership & design
- Define and own the overall IT architecture (BigQuery/data warehouse), ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.
- Design standardized data models and schemas across business domains to enable Customer & Partner 360 as well as predictive analytics.
- Establish frameworks for metadata, lineage, and data quality for transparency and trust.
- Ensure that the architecture supports both batch and real-time streaming use cases.
Governance, compliance & structure
- Define and implement the cross-functional data governance structure in line with Visma's Data Strategy.
- Establish and lead the Data Council, ensuring clear accountability, decision-making authority, and escalation paths for data ownership.
- Introduce and oversee Data Stewardship roles within each domain (CX, Commercial, Product, Finance).
- Ensure architectural compliance with GDPR, ISO, and Visma's security standards.
Data knowledge & culture
- Design and lead data knowledge programs that build competence among all key personnel – from business users to analysts and leaders.
- Promote a corporate culture where data is trusted, understood, and embedded in daily decision-making.
Strategic enabling & alignment
- Translate Visma's Data Strategy into actionable architectural roadmaps and governance plans.
- Collaborate with senior leaders in Product, R&D, CX, and Commercial to harmonize data definitions, KPIs, and technical roadmaps.
