The Education Administration is responsible for, among other things, preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, high school, and adapted high school. The responsibility also includes student health, mother tongue instruction, school transport, and school meals. We work to create an inspiring learning environment for approximately 10,000 children and students. We have a strong vision of building knowledge and creating dreams.

The Trelleborg Principal Area Anderslöv/Alstad consists of Väståkraskolan, Alstad School and Preschool, as well as Trollskogen Preschool. The area is led by a principal together with four assistant principals, an administrative manager, and a kitchen manager.

Väståkraskolan is located along the famous Landsvägen and is centrally located in the village of Anderslöv, about 25 minutes from Malmö. The school has about 500 students in grades F-9. Our school has its own sports hall and football fields for physical activity and sports. We also have craft rooms, home economics rooms, and a library. A highlight is our newly built and spacious dining hall, restaurant Lövet, which serves as the heart of the school! This bright and inviting environment is not only a place for meals but also a gathering point where students and staff can meet, socialize, and build relationships.

At the Principal Area Anderslöv/Alstad, we strive for both students and staff to have the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential. Our focus is on providing high-quality teaching, promoting health and well-being, and creating safe, pleasant, and inclusive learning environments. We also value collaboration with our kitchen manager for good meals. All our units are proud to be Green Flag certified.

Job Description You will teach students in grades 7-9 primarily in Swedish but also in mathematics and a smaller part in home economics. The learning environment is adapted to each student's individual needs. Together with the team, you contribute to creating a holistic view of the student. In your role, you will be an important part of a dynamic team that works closely together to create a comprehensive picture of each student's learning and development. By inspiring and motivating students, you will play a central role in guiding them towards achieving the set knowledge goals. Students should also develop as individuals and feel a strong sense of context and belonging in school.

Qualifications We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish, mathematics, and home economics in grades 7-9. You are independent, secure, and clear, putting the student at the center and having a good ability to develop and plan teaching in collaboration with colleagues.

You thrive in an environment that places high demands on responsibility, flexibility, decisiveness, and social competence. You are good at building good relationships with students and guardians and are happy to bring new thoughts and ideas that can enrich our operations. As a person, you are cooperative, curious, relationship-oriented, and communicative. We see that you convey security and have a positive attitude. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
