About the position


As a chemist focused on waste management of chemicals, you will be a key person in helping customers manage their hazardous waste safely, correctly, and sustainably. The role is a combination of practical work, consulting, and daily contact with businesses that need your expertise.



Your responsibilities include, among other things:
  • Classifying, sorting, and labeling chemical waste, such as solvents, laboratory chemicals, acids, and paints.
  • Ensuring that handling, packaging, and transportation comply with applicable legislation, including ADR.
  • Visiting customers and performing sorting, identification, and secure preparation of hazardous waste for transport on-site.
  • Providing advice on proper handling, storage, and waste management of chemicals to minimize risks and increase safety.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with our reception staff and involves many internal and external contacts. You will be an important support for our customers in their efforts to meet legal requirements and improve their chemical management. The role is varied and is performed both indoors and outdoors, and some tasks may be physically demanding.



Your profile


We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in chemistry and sustainable waste management. You thrive in a role where you can solve problems, take initiative, and work independently. Structure, accuracy, and a safety mindset are crucial qualities.

You have an easy time building good relationships and feel confident in the role of advisor. Collaboration is a natural part of your working style – both with colleagues and customers.



Requirements:
  • Driver's license B

Meritorious:
  • Driver's license C
  • ADR training
  • Forklift license

Salary: Fixed salary
Working hours: Daytime
Start date: By agreement
Location: Örebro, Tippvägen 1

The position is a consultancy assignment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension or takeover by Stena Recycling.
