About Us – A Unique Workplace

Pediatric Radiology is a complete and independent radiology department, fully adapted for children and adolescents. We are proud to be part of Drottning Silvias Children’s Hospital, where we together create a safe and welcoming environment for our patients and their families. Here, all types of pediatric radiological examinations are performed with modern equipment in bright and child-friendly facilities around the clock.

With us, you will meet an engaged team with various professional categories working closely together – both within the department and with other departments or clinics within Drottning Silvias Children’s Hospital as well as other clinics in Västra Götaland. We perform over 40,000 examinations per year on patients aged 0 to 16, where clinical work and research contribute to a dynamic and developing workplace.

Your Role with Us

As an assistant nurse in Pediatric Radiology, you will become an important part of our team. You will:

• Assist in radiological examinations of children and adolescents
• Work closely with patients in conventional X-ray and ultrasound
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and reception

About You

You are a trained assistant nurse with a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare for protected professional title. Experience in pediatric care, emergency care, or hospital environments is advantageous. You have worked with a radiological journal system such as AGFA/Sectra and have experience and/or have worked at reception.
