About you

We are looking for a licensed physician with a genuine interest in dermatology and venereology. A requirement is that you have an approved BT if you are educated outside of Sweden. It is important to us that you have a strong desire to develop in the field and an ambition to improve care for our patient groups.

Working with us involves close collaboration with colleagues from all professional groups, and we are therefore looking for a person with good communication skills, a sense of teamwork, and a humble attitude. Your ability to work independently and take initiative is highly valued.

Your future workplace

The dermatology clinic consists of dermatology and STI outpatient care, as well as a regional wound center. The operations are conducted in high, bright, and spacious premises that house a well-equipped treatment department. The clinic has 23 dedicated and competent employees, including three senior physicians, three specialist physicians, and one ST physician. Together, we engage in ongoing development work through interdisciplinary process groups.

We have close cooperation with the surgical clinic, ear clinic, and pathology regarding skin tumors, as well as with primary care through teledermatology. Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialized care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2,300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our employees' continuous development work leads to good results in several national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
