We are looking for a meticulous and responsible case officer who wants to work in a varied and important role within our social work.

Support and Welfare is currently a unit with nine social workers, one case officer, and one senior social worker under the leadership of a unit manager.

As a case officer with us, you will have a broad mandate where you work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and management. You will be part of an engaged team that values professionalism, quality, and good service.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of case officer, you will work with a colleague on:

• Statistical reporting to the National Board of Health and Welfare – collection, compilation, and reporting of statistics according to current guidelines.
• Handling incoming electricity debts – administrative responsibility for the cases that come to the administration.
• Processing of estate notifications – investigation, documentation, and authority decisions according to applicable legislation.
• Processing of financial assistance concerning funeral costs – assessment and decision in cases related to assistance for funerals.
• Processing of other financial assistance cases where labor market measures are not relevant.
• Support function to management – for example, through administrative support, information compilation, and ongoing coordination tasks.
