Your Role

As a maintenance preparer with us, you will be an important part of an innovative team driving the digitalization of maintenance instructions for Gripen E/F.

You will be responsible for creating technical information in the form of maintenance instructions - primarily in 3D, but also in 2D - using tools such as Delmia (MBD_MI) and ARAS. The work is carried out in close collaboration with subsystem engineers, where you plan, coordinate, and execute tasks according to established processes.

You actively contribute to developing our methods, tools, and workflows, as well as driving the digitalization of our technical solutions forward. The work takes place in the product projects for Gripen, in close dialogue with colleagues in ILS Design, system development, design, and flight testing - as well as in contact with both Swedish and international customers and authorities.

As part of ILS Design Gripen E/F within Saab Aeronautics, you support the entire product lifecycle - from development and maintenance to decommissioning. We work to ensure high availability and effective maintainability in our flight systems.

You will be part of a cohesive, experienced team with a strong collaborative culture, where knowledge is shared and developed every day. Our environment is characterized by openness, technical curiosity, and continuous development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, structured, and analytical, with ease in collaborating across many interfaces. You thrive in technical development environments, have an eye for detail, and the ability to see the bigger picture.

You are curious about digitalization and enjoy working with technical solutions in advanced system environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in PDM and CAD systems (e.g., Teamcenter and Delmia 3DMI).
  • Ability to analyze and assess technical data based on requirements and needs.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Swedish citizenship (due to defense confidentiality).

Preferred Experience

  • Operational and maintenance experience from an operator perspective, preferably in aviation.
  • Knowledge of airframes, installations, and Service Bulletins.
  • Experience working with digital maintenance instructions or technical publications.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.

What You Will Be Part Of

Discover endless possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart innovations, and upgrade your skills. This is a place for clever thinkers, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together, we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing their unique perspective. Every contribution counts.
