Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in procurement, purchasing, commercial operations, or management of construction equipment
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge and experience of machinery and assets
• Familiarity with Swedish legislation and industry standards in the construction sector.
• Strong skills in using systems and tools for asset management.
• Swedish language skills are an advantage; fluent English is required
• Driving license B

You will report to the Procurement Manager at the head office in Gävle.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of Collen's machinery and vehicles.
• Support the development and implementation of Collen's asset management strategies in Sweden
• Coordinate the use of machines and assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal.
• Assist in the receipt and return of machines and assets based on project needs.
• Schedule planned and unplanned maintenance of project assets, such as cabins, tools, machines, equipment, and machinery.
• Contribute to maximizing productivity of assets.
• Participate in the evaluation of purchasing versus renting equipment and machines.
• Promote the most economical procurement and/or rental by collaborating with suppliers.
• Participate in the purchase of fuel and spare parts.
• Contribute to the profitability of the machinery fleet through effective cost management.
• Coordinate the reuse, sale, or recycling of assets efficiently.
• Point of contact for vehicle incidents and accidents, including organizing repairs.
• Ensure that machinery management aligns with the company's sustainability strategy.
• Oversee scheduling of vehicle maintenance according to regional requirements.
• Maintain current records for all machines, vehicles, and tools, and follow best practices and legal requirements.
• Support plans for replacement or upgrading of surplus assets.
• Track and document all leased and rented assets.
• Organize periodic inspection and testing of lifting devices (e.g., forklifts, telehandlers, chains, harnesses, waste and concrete containers, safety harnesses, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and internal requirements regarding safety, environment, and sustainability
• Be business-minded when coordinating the company's machinery and assets.
• Reconcile monthly invoices and account statements for all machines and assets.
