About the assignment

We are looking for an archive assistant for our client in Stockholm for a full-time assignment starting January 2, 2026, and lasting until February 27, 2026. The work takes place at the client's office in southern Stockholm. Your tasks

The work primarily involves managing archiving and delivery to the city archive within the archive expedition. Other tasks within the archive may also occur, such as:

• Retrieving and providing information in the form of public documents from physical archives, historical collections, e-archives, and databases
• Conducting archiving investigations regarding which documents are preserved and what can be archived
• Developing a strategy for digital long-term storage and preparing for delivery to the e-archive
• Creating handling instructions (document management plans)
• Producing an inventory of archives in the form of a list according to the general archive schema and reporting according to business processes
• Conducting assessments and investigations regarding physical storage of documents
• Carrying out prescribed archiving
• Participating in the establishment of guidelines and governing documents for internal archive work
• Delivering information to the City Archive

Your qualifications

• Basic university eligibility
• At least one (1) year of experience with administrative tasks within archives
• Knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B
• Experience with archiving

Meritorious 

• Experience working within the City of Stockholm
