Workplace Description
The student assistant will be placed at the Department of Molecular Hematology and Immunology, ILM, Faculty of Medicine.
The student assistant will be responsible for purchasing within the laboratories Consiglio (a total of 6 hours/week), Böiers (a total of 2 hours/week), and Gribonika (a total of 2 hours/week), all of which are part of the Department of Molecular Hematology and Immunology. The student assistant will also be responsible for laboratory operations in the Consiglio laboratory. The Department of Molecular Hematology and Immunology strives to create a respectful, supportive, and stimulating work environment. The student assistant will receive training to perform the tasks.

Job Responsibilities
As a student assistant, the tasks may vary, but they should always have a clear connection to your studies. The tasks in this position include:
- responsibility for ordering laboratory reagents and products
- responsibility for laboratory organization, such as inventory and chemical safety
- Support in the laboratory environment
Eligibility
Eligible for employment as a student assistant is someone who is pursuing full-time studies at the university level in Sweden, has completed approved studies corresponding to at least 60 higher education credits, and has not started a doctoral program.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position are that you:
- are currently pursuing full-time studies at Lund University within the MSc Biomedical program or equivalent education that the employer deems relevant during the spring semester of 2026 and throughout the entire period you hold the position as a student assistant
- have completed approved studies of at least 60 higher education credits
- must not have started a doctoral program
- have very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- have education in Biomedicine
- possess the personal qualities required, e.g., independence, teamwork ability
It is advantageous for the position if you:
- have knowledge/experience of laboratory work
Other
The employment is limited from 2026-01-19 or by agreement after 2026-01-19 and until 2026-06-07. The position is for 25%. You will work according to a fixed schedule to be established in agreement between you and the employer.
