JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The participants in daily activities have different conditions and face various opportunities, challenges, and difficulties. As a work supervisor, it is your task to support the participants in their daily work through a pedagogical approach and a low-arousal response. We work with IBIC (individual's needs in focus). The position includes being a contact person, creating implementation plans, and documenting according to IBIC in our documentation system Pulsen Combine. The goal is to offer meaningful employment that, based on the individual's conditions and wishes, enhances self-esteem and leads to independence.

We work with base groups in the operation; currently, we have six different base groups.

A large part of the job involves finding suitable tasks for the participants and motivating them to progress in their development. Daily activities are in constant change, so you need to be flexible, have a creative view of your role, and be prepared for assignments and activities to change based on the participants' needs. Daily work may consist of various activities such as music, training, outdoor activities, sensory rooms, crafts, care, social skills training, Lego work, supervision in company-based activities, and acquiring internships together with one or more work supervisors. In daily activities, we focus on health. This means that we have tasks/employment that includes food and movement in various forms.

QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires a completed high school education with a pedagogical focus and previous experience in daily activities according to LSS. Experience in supervising individuals with disabilities is a requirement. In all situations, the task is to support participants in achieving their individual goals, contributing to a daily life filled with meaningful employment and work.

The job involves supervising participants in a professional manner so that they can carry out activities according to the schedule. Flexibility in supervision and the ability to reflect on one's own approach to ask whether the supervision has been the best possible or if another approach is needed is required.

Knowledge and Documentation

Good knowledge of IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus) and experience in documentation is necessary. This includes both the establishment of implementation plans and social documentation according to current guidelines.

Experience as a contact person is an advantage. The role includes contact with LSS caseworkers and relatives, such as guardians or family members.

Personal Characteristics

The position requires a flexible and adaptable personality. The ability to handle changes and varying tasks, as well as to adjust working methods without losing focus on the goal, is crucial. Good collaboration skills are important for making new contacts, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive work environment.

A good attitude, willingness to change, a reflective approach, and working towards agreed goals are fundamental. The ability to adapt tasks and activities according to the individual's abilities is central. Sensitivity, constructive problem-solving, and the ability to build trust and cooperation are important qualities. In the workgroup, you are expected to contribute to engagement and participation by inspiring joy in work and demonstrating good examples.

Other Requirements

The ability to work independently, take responsibility, show initiative, and be open to development are important parts of the role. You should be positive, engaged, and able to express yourself well in both speech and writing. An interest in creating structure both administratively and pedagogically is desirable. Clear body language and a personal drive in work are also important qualities.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
