We are looking for an engaged and flexible music teacher in guitar/bass and music production for a short-term substitute position at the start of the spring term.

You will teach students of various ages and levels, both individually and in groups.

The assignment includes:

• Individual instruction in electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and electric bass (beginner to advanced level).
• Leading two ensemble groups (rock bands with guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and vocals).
• Teaching music production, primarily in Logic Pro.
• Participation in a beginner orchestra together with colleagues (you play bass and are responsible for percussion students).
• Open activities at the youth center focusing on music production together with singing teachers.

The work is varied, and you will meet students at different stages of development, which requires both musical breadth and pedagogical sensitivity.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant education and teaching certification or music teacher training or other pedagogical education.
• Has advanced knowledge in guitar/electric guitar and electric bass.
• Has good knowledge in music production and is accustomed to working in Logic Pro.
• Has good sight-reading skills.
• Has experience in individual instruction and leading ensemble activities, preferably in rock/pop.
• Is comfortable working with students of various ages and levels.
• Is pedagogical, independent, and flexible in your working methods.
• Has a B driver's license.

About the position

The position is 80%. Substitute during the period January 7 – February 19, 2026.

About the recruitment process
