The Accounts & Liquidity department is responsible for the bank's liquidity in Swedish kronor and works closely with the Riksbank, clearing houses, and internal specialist groups.

Job Information

Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Handelsbanken, is seeking an employee for Handelsbanken's team. This is an immediate need where the start of the position will be as soon as possible.

You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at the bank during the assignment period.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves ensuring that the bank has the right liquidity in SEK to carry out payments and clearing flows. You will work with:

• Monitoring and administration of liquidity via the Riksbank
• Distributing liquidity so that payments can be cleared in various systems
• Reconciliation of accounting against actual operations and investigating discrepancies
• Advanced handling of Excel for analysis and reporting
• Certain tasks within the relations group for foreign banks' cash clearing
  

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a post-secondary degree in economics
• Has previous work experience in payments
• Possesses good Excel skills
• Has strong analytical abilities and good system familiarity
• Communicates clearly in Swedish and English
• Thrives with responsibility and careful work in critical processes
  

It is also an advantage if you have previous banking experience. If you also have knowledge of liquidity flows, clearing, or RIX, and/or have skills in VBA programming, this is a plus.
