About the Role and Responsibilities at Ribbingska

As a care assistant at Ribbingska, you will help and support our users with care work based on their wishes and needs according to approved assistance.

You will assist our users with personal care, service tasks, and perform medical tasks delegated by a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.

Your work includes documenting in Lifecare according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. As a care assistant, you will design implementation plans, document, evaluate, and contribute to maintaining good quality in the operations. We follow up on quality in national registers such as BPSD, SveDem, and Senior Alert.

You will also be an active part of planning, team, and quality work at Ribbingska.

You will belong to one department but have resource shifts throughout the entire facility.

We are looking for you

who has a degree as a care assistant. You are confident in your role and have experience working in care and support with a rehabilitative approach. We prefer that you have previously worked in special housing for the elderly, and it is an advantage if you have worked with users with cognitive impairments.

You need to be accustomed to performing medical tasks according to delegation. You can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and have good computer skills to document and create implementation plans. Knowledge and experience of BPSD and Senior Alert are advantageous.

As a person, you are stable, confident in your role, and have great patience. You have a professional approach, are solution-focused, and flexible. You work based on person-centered care and have a rehabilitative approach where you encourage the users' own abilities. Your goal is always to create a meaningful everyday life for the residents at Ribbingska.

About the Workplace

Ribbingska is located in central Lund, close to both train and bus communication. We have 48 apartments divided into two somatic departments and four departments with users with cognitive impairments. Many different professional categories work together with us to create meaning and security for our elderly. Housing focus and collaboration are important to us, and we strive to provide care and support with joy and consideration. We have several exciting projects underway, including welfare technology and a focus on walks to address anxiety and restlessness among residents.

We are looking for someone interested in a permanent position at 100%. The full-time measure is 36 hours and 20 minutes per week.
