Teacher for grades 7-9, textile crafts at Bodaskolan 7-9 Responsibilities

As a teacher in textile crafts, you create, based on current governing documents, conditions for students to develop ideas and consider different solutions and approaches within textile crafts. The work includes planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation. You are responsible for a good pedagogical learning environment and adapt and plan the teaching to each student's level so that they can achieve as far as possible in their knowledge development.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a certified teacher with the authority to teach crafts for grades 7-9. It is an advantage if you are qualified in both textile crafts and wood and metal crafts.

You also have very good leadership skills and a natural ability to create relationships with young people.

You also have good knowledge of and experience working with students in need of support, students' challenges within NPF, students with a linguistic background other than Swedish, and students with norm-breaking behavior.

You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. Since close cooperation with guardians, student health, teachers, and other staff at the school is required, good collaboration skills and communication ability are a must. At the same time, you need to be self-driven, willing to take responsibility, and enjoy working independently to thrive in the role.

You are flexible, have the ability to take initiative, and dare to try new ways to find solutions.
