Description
We are entering a new era! The Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO) is launching Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly established organization that gathers all outpatient clinics and inpatient wards for patients with psychotic disorders within SLSO into a common operation.

We are currently looking for a nursing assistant for one of our psychosis wards, ward 3, Psychosis Care Stockholm. We are centrally located at S:t Göran's hospital area. The ward has 14 beds for patients aged 18 and above, of which one bed is reserved for voluntary admission. Patient participation, good collaboration with relatives and care neighbors, high accessibility, and a well-functioning care chain are several central cornerstones on which the operation rests. The catchment area is Spånga-Tensta and Rinkeby-Kista.
Job Responsibilities
The job responsibilities involve psychiatric nursing and care. You support your colleagues in daily work and are involved in planning and execution regarding the patients in your care group. Basic nursing, support conversations, and documentation in the journal system Take Care, etc.
Qualifications
Protected professional title. You are a positive person who enjoys collaborating with different professional categories. You thrive in a varied work environment and can also work independently. You are interested in transcultural aspects and want to develop in your profession.
Conditions
The position is 100% day and evening work with a rolling 5-week schedule, with 2 weekends out of 5.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:
- background checks are applied before a hiring decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health care before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-certified staff with patient contact.
