About Us

The Infection and Lung Clinic is a county clinic specializing in infectious and lung diseases as well as specialized adult allergy. We have four outpatient services: the infection clinic, lung and allergy clinic, needle exchange clinic, and diagnostic center. We also have an inpatient department with 22 beds.

We are looking for a nurse for a combined position as a reception nurse and oxygen/ventilator nurse for the lung clinic.

At our lung and allergy clinic, there are various specialties. Here, reception nurses, allergy nurses, contact nurses for lung cancer, and ventilator and oxygen nurses work. Within the specialties, the nursing work is independent, including its own nurse consultations, including video visits.

Your Responsibilities

As an oxygen/ventilator nurse, you will work both independently and in a team with patient visits and fittings, as well as follow-ups of oxygen and ventilators. The visit includes blood gas sampling. You and your colleagues will have both planned and urgent visits and educational responsibilities for patients, relatives, and healthcare staff in the management of ventilators. The role includes acting as a consultant to other departments. Home visits throughout Sörmland occur, so a B driver's license is required. The work requires a technical interest as you will handle ventilators. You will also perform spirometry, take care of day care patients, provide advice, and assist in bronchoscopy examinations and other pulmonary medical procedures.

Your Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse in healthcare and have several years of experience. You are confident and stable in your profession, have good collaboration skills, and a positive attitude towards your work. You are open to change and enjoy planning and structuring your work effectively. You can work both independently and in a team. Interest in technical equipment is required.
