Åkersviks School is a smaller school with grades 5-9, where everyone knows each other and where many adults are present around our students.

Your contribution in the role of teacher:

As a substitute English teacher at Åkersviks School, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in grades 7 and 8. In addition, teaching in enhanced English may be relevant.

Your qualifications and experience:

We are primarily looking for a certified teacher in English with the qualification to teach at the secondary level. It is advantageous if you are familiar with digital teaching tools and have experience using them in both group teaching and as individual compensatory aids.

You have a positive view of students and assume that our students can, dare, and want to. As a person, you are solution-focused, structured, and action-oriented. You are a good adult role model and have an easy time collaborating and building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You have great patience and are resilient to stress, and you understand and act on the premise that we all contribute to each other's work environment.

You are also well-grounded in the governing documents of compulsory education.
