Do you want to play a key role in developing one of Sweden's most customer-centric insurance companies?
We are in an expansive phase with high ambitions for 2030 – to grow significantly and take a larger market share. To succeed, we need to strengthen our ability to assess and manage risks in corporate and agricultural insurance. Therefore, we are now looking for a Risk Manager, a key function that will ensure our risks are correctly assessed and priced, and serve as a sounding board for the sales organization. The role is crucial to avoid incorrect risks and contribute to the company's long-term profitability.

About the position
As a Risk Manager, you will have a central mandate to assess, evaluate, and price risks in corporate and agricultural insurance. You will work with medium-sized and larger companies, complex operations, and insurance solutions where standardized premium factors are sometimes lacking. You are responsible for conducting qualified underwriting, setting premium factors or calculating manual premiums and, if necessary, making decisions to refrain from business. The role involves close collaboration with our sales organization, where you act as a sounding board, advisor, and sometimes counterpart.

You will work within the framework of our risk selection rules and the guidelines governed by Dina Försäkring AB, while ensuring that the company does not take on incorrect or underpriced risks.

Main responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate risks in corporate and agricultural insurance
• Act as a challenger and sounding board for the sales organization
• Review and approve or reject insurance transactions based on risk assessment
• Ensure correct risk pricing for different types of objects and operations
• Assess physical risks in properties such as fire protection, materials, type of operation, and sprinkler systems
• Evaluate business interruption risks and consequences in the event of damage
• Analyze risks in agricultural environments
• Understand and apply insurance laws and contractual terms
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the organization for knowledge exchange
• Ensure that the company does not take on incorrect or underpriced risks
• Contribute to the company's long-term profitability through correct risk management
• Collaborate with other risk managers within the Federation
  

Who are you?
We are looking for someone with good knowledge of corporate and property insurance, experience in underwriting and risk assessment, and an understanding of physical risks in various types of operations. Experience from agriculture, real estate, or construction is an advantage. An academic education in law, economics, or engineering is desirable, but equivalent knowledge may have been acquired through extensive professional experience, for example as a senior underwriter, claims manager, risk engineer, or fire engineer.

You are a confident and analytical expert with a good overall perspective and the ability to see both the details and the strategic contexts. You have strong integrity and are not afraid to make difficult decisions or challenge when necessary. At the same time, you are relationship-building, pedagogical, and thrive in close collaboration with colleagues from across the organization.
