PTP Psychologist at Spånga Health Center

Spånga Health Center is a popular and well-established clinic with 45 employees.

The clinic has approximately 16,500 registered patients of various ages. The health center is conveniently located near the commuter train and bus station, just 13 minutes by train from Stockholm Central. Spånga Square offers many restaurants, a few shops, and market stalls. Our area includes Solhem, Bromsten, Sundby, and Flysta, characterized by a small-town atmosphere.

There is some flexibility for personal schedule planning.

Job Responsibilities

Work at the health center is characterized by a holistic view of people, and we are tasked with caring for individuals with mild to moderate mental health issues. The health center's psychosocial team consists of two psychologists and a social worker. Mental health interventions are carried out in a team-based manner, collaborating among different professional categories and treating physicians. As a psychologist in training, you will work under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. The PTP psychologist's work mainly consists of psychological assessment and treatment. The focus is on short-term therapy for conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress-related illnesses, severe crises, and pain issues.

Employment Type

Fixed-term employment for 12 months. Full-time, with the possibility of part-time work. Start date in early 2026. Selection will occur continuously during the application period.

Qualifications:

You must have completed a psychology degree and have a particular interest in primary care.

Excellent knowledge of Swedish is required.

You have a genuine interest in outpatient work with a primary care perspective and keep the patient in focus. You thrive in your professional role and function well in a healthcare environment with varying pace. You are engaged and contribute to a good work climate, are flexible, and can shift focus when needed. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and good references.

Previous work experience is an advantage.

  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
