Licensed Psychologist, Vårdcentral Mora Job Responsibilities

Vårdcentral Mora is expanding its team with a psychologist who wants to develop and work in our multimodal team for patients with chronic pain. Region Dalarna is undergoing a reorganization to improve care in this area, where Mora is one of three health centers in the region that will receive an expanded mandate. The team will offer multimodal rehabilitation for chronic pain to patients listed at health centers in Northern and Western Dalarna. This team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors, coordinators, and psychologists.

This position primarily involves assessment and treatment of chronic pain together with the other professionals in the team, which can be provided individually, in groups, through internet-based treatment programs, or via video visits.

As a psychologist at Vårdcentral Mora, you will work both independently and in teams with other professionals both internally and externally, and in addition to working in the chronic pain team, you will also handle the usual tasks of a primary care psychologist. This includes assessment and treatment of mild to moderate psychiatric issues in adults. Depending on your background, there are various opportunities to work with or develop in areas such as children and youth, pregnant women, small children, and parental support.

We have psychologist colleagues with extensive experience and knowledge, which provides you with security in the primary care assignment, and of course, an introduction will be offered.

Requirements:

• Licensed psychologist with CBT orientation and a genuine interest in primary care assignments and chronic pain.

Meritorious:

• Previous work in primary care, psychiatry, or pain rehabilitation
• We would like you to have knowledge in ACT
