Investigation Coordinator at the Department of Education and Child Care

About the Position

The Department of Education and Child Care has about 450 employees and 15 managers, with a budget of approximately 400 million SEK. The department includes preschool, primary school, secondary school, student health, cultural school, adult education, and a competence center that includes vocational training and SFI.

We are now seeking an investigation coordinator for a temporary position starting immediately or by agreement, until June 2026.

In the role of investigation coordinator, you will provide administrative support and be part of the school office's staff group (staff unit) led by the administrative manager who is also the school principal. You will work closely with the administrative manager and operational managers on the ongoing processes during the current period.

The main tasks include:

• Preparing cases for the board.
• Project managing investigation assignments and presenting to the board.
• Contributing to other relevant tasks or assignments within the department.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in social sciences, law, education, or a relevant field as assessed by the employer. You have a good understanding of what it means to work in a politically governed organization. Furthermore, you have excellent written and oral communication skills in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the Education Act, as well as familiarity with the education system and the governing documents for preschool and school.

As a person, you are structured and have a good ability to coordinate and drive processes. You have good collaboration skills and can communicate well with different target groups.
