VD-tidningen is Sweden's only trade magazine that focuses entirely on the role of the CEO. We cover the CEO's work through interviews, analyses, and case studies, and also organize several annual events where the editorial team moderates discussions and program points.

We are now looking for a reporter for a full-time temporary position until at least October 2026.

The role combines writing and editorial work. You will produce articles for the website and magazine, conduct interviews, formulate angles, and work on selection and packaging of material for recurring newsletters. Since parts of the position relate to managers and leadership, an interest in these topics is advantageous.

We believe you are at the beginning of your career and want to grow in the role of a trade journalist.

Responsibilities

• write news, analyses, case studies, and interviews

• identify relevant issues and generate your own ideas

• select and structure material for newsletters

• participate in the editorial planning

• opportunity to be a moderator at certain events

Qualifications

• excellent ability to write clearly and understandably

• interest in business, leadership, and societal issues

• ability to quickly grasp new topics

• good work structure and self-drive

• proficiency in Swedish and English at a high level

Desirable but not required: experience with web publishing, search engine optimization, and basic image handling (Affinity Photo).

VD-tidningen consists of a digital premium service, a magazine published six times a year, and several annual events and conferences for CEOs of small and medium-sized enterprises. It is part of the growing publisher Pauser Media, along with titles such as Kvalitetsmagasinet, Miljö & Utveckling, and Techtidningen.

The editorial team is located in the Slakthus area, a developing area close to restaurants and services, as well as good transportation links.
